Brand Story: Designed by kids for kids!
In a world of screen and social media we saw a need for Children to be empowered to express their imaginations and creativity. From this our brand Dino Creation was started with the purpose to inspire children’s creativity, build confidence and explore sensory play. Two working Mothers and their children came together with a purpose in mind to create products that will encourage others to create, laugh and learn. Our Children are a big part of the design of our products. We actively invite ideas from young minds into our design team. Lots of our products support children with hands-on instructions to give purpose to their play while also encouraging individual creativity. Our unique approach to using different art material as a learning tool sets us apart from other products on the market. Our goal is to provide a fun and educational experience for children while giving parents peace of mind that their children are engaged in safe, age appropriate play. Aurora
One of our chief children designers. Our own Dino Logo was originally created by Aurora when she embarked on a self-guided exploration of animation. She was very dedicated and spent hours of time creating her very first animated Dino image. This evolved into multiple designs including the delightful Pika-Dino, the mischievous Villain-Dino, and the whimsical Axolotl-Dino. Aurora took her animated design and channelled her artistic talents to make Dino Clay necklaces which quickly became ‘must have’ accessories at her school. The response of popularity of the little Dino image buoyed Aurora onwards to make bag tags, book tags and Dino Tokens. These Dino handcrafted items kindled the spirit of exchange and friendship at her school. It ignited a vibrant ecosystem of creativity and camaraderie. It was Aurora together with her brother Orion that first expressed their passion to open their own Dino store. Their ambition then inspired their parents to get onboard and empower their dreams.
Orion
Our other chief children designer, Orion is a skilled artist for his age and is
always brimming with ideas. Back in 2019 together with his sister Aurora
he embarked on the sculpturing world of Dino Clay. They created Dino
Worlds, creatures, miniature food items and many more worlds. Orion has
even created a dental kit with Dino Clay! He is also a skilled painter and
regularly adds his ideas to creating Dino products.
ALEX
Has his feet planted in country Queensland, this young man loves to
sketch with tiny detail, he is also an avid soccer nut. When we can get
him away from the soccer ball, Alex will help us decide what he thinks 6.
3yr old boys would like. He loves machines, food, games, cactuses. the
beach, saxophone and sport. You may see him on some of the Dino
Creation advertisements as well. He features in many of our advertising
videos and can add budding actor to his name!
TEAGAN
Our little frecracker! Teagan adds flare and a touch of craziness to our
ideas. She is a free spirit that loves dragons, animals, fairytales and
adventure. Teaqan is an imaginative writer and spins us many
adventurous stories to add to our product designs and ideas. We can
rely on Teagan to help us think outside the box. She regularly gives her
opinion on what we should or shouldn't design. She also a star actress in
many of our video advertisements.
LANNING & AMANDA
Lanning and Amanda, the founders of Dino Creation, discovered the
strong interest and creativity their own children have for art and crafts
They realised that working with different sensory materials, not only
enhances creativity but also develops important skills such as manua
dexterity, organisation, time management, and teamwork. Inspired by
this, they decided to invest in nurturing these interests and encourage
their children's creativity and imagination. Although Lanning and
Amanda had no prior experience in the toy or e-commerce business
their passion for supporting children's development led them to dive in
and learn from scratch. Lanning, an educational consultant, and
Amanda, a veterinarian and vocational teacher, embarked on a journey of
learning how to build an e-commerce platform, create videos. design
ads, manage websites, and understand logistics etc. Through this
process, they not only brought their children's dreams to life but also
grew alongside them, building confdence and taking their frst steps into
the world of entrepreneurship together.
